BUILDING CLOSED on MONDAY, 11/9 - students learn online from home

Dear Prep Families,

We are writing to let you know that someone in our school community tested positive for COVID-19.

While we know this is certainly serious and alarming news, we want to assure you that our COVID-19 safety protocols have been activated, and we are taking the appropriate steps to ensure our school community is protected.

The most immediate next step is the school building will be CLOSED on Monday, 11/9. No students or staff will be reporting to the building.

Here is what happens next:

All students will learn remotely tomorrow. Like always, students should check their email at 9 am. There will be a link to their remote schedule for the day. Students will have Morning Meeting and live, remote classes throughout the day.

During this closure, the DOE will investigate, reach out to anyone who has come in contact, and ultimately make a decision about whether or not it is safe to re-open school on Tuesday, November 10th.

Please read the attached letter for further information about this process.

You can expect an update about Tuesday by tomorrow evening via email and an automated phone call, just like you have received tonight.

We know this is a difficult time. Thank you for continuing to endure the unknown with us, and taking the necessary precautions as we strive to keep all members of our school community safe.
